Beckley

Our brief was to remodel a rather dilapidated Californian bungalow for a professional artist, musician, and their young son. Our design drew inspiration from their philosophy an approach to life which valued simplicity, authenticity, sustainability, a certain informal approach to life and a closeness to nature.  

There is something joyful and intangible about this house that cannot be effectively captured in a photograph. Suffice to say it’s new owner recently mentioned "it is two years since we moved in and we still cant believe how fortunate we are to live in house like this”.
